Ports 1961's Flagship store located on Canton Road is another successful leasing deal that Carlton has completed recently with a lot of close collaboration with the brand. Tremendous effort has been put into getting the façade design submitted, approved and constructed after satisfying all the structural requirements and compliance by the different government bodies. Given various structural constraints and the complexity of the design, the PORTS 1961 on Canton Road has proven to be the toughest and most innovative one we have seen in Tsim Sha Tsui.
JaneClare (2024-Present)
116 - 120 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui
JaneClare took over the premises from July 2024 onwards. The main provisions such as staircases and internal lift remain at the flagship store. JaneClare leased the premises from G/F to 2/F, hence, the staircases connecting 2/F to 3/F were demolished and the void was filled. The internal lift connecting G/F to 3/F has been replaced together with the disabled platform. Other structural matters and the facade design were approved previously during PORTS 1961’s lease, hence JaneClare took over and commenced their business relatively seamlessly upon handing over of the premises.
